"One of the East Valley’s longest-running spots, Micky’s has served Mesa, Arizona since 1995, tucked beside the towering, long-abandoned flour mills. A quirky hand-painted logo of a grinning hot dog with cartoon eyes beckons from the front. The menu is simple: Sonoran dogs and taquería staples on flour tortillas made in house daily. Fewer than 10 seats wrap the counter inside, with picnic tables out front. The bacon wrap runs a little thinner here, letting the dog’s char and smoky salsa stand out — though those craving more bacon may want to look elsewhere. Add a taco when the dog disappears too fast." - McConnell Quinn
