"Arguably, the most picturesque views of Downtown come from across the river, at the Loren Hotel at Lady Bird Lake. The Zilker restaurant’s patio has a beautiful view of the lake, the sparkling skyscrapers of the cityscape, and the rolling hills beyond. There’s also an indoor dining room and cocktail lounge, but the best views are on the patio. Food here is inoffensive but not spectacular (brick chicken, oysters, and drinks close to $20 each), but the view is truly unmatched." - Erin Russell
