Ramen and Izakaya Combo Prepping for Kearny Mesa, Pacific Beach, and Hillcrest - Eater San Diego
"Ramen Ryoma is under construction on University Avenue in Hillcrest and is slated to open next year. The 2,800-square-foot restaurant will feature a second floor loft and bar pouring 10 beers on tap and a variety of sake. The Kearny Mesa location will open in August at 9119 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, with operating hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Ramen Ryoma’s menu will combine house signature ramen and small plates found at a Japanese izakaya. Specializing in Sapporo-style miso ramen, based on a long-simmered pork bone broth mixed with a miso base, it will serve hand-massaged temomi noodles.
