"For the collab called Sisig Pie Guys I learned it’s a Detroit‑style pie built on Square Pie Guys’ classic base topped with a creamy white sauce, pork shoulder sisig, a sprinkling of caramelized onions, cherry tomato, pickled and diced jalapeños, and a healthy drizzle of creamy salsa verde; it launches with a party on Sunday, July 16 (499 Ninth Street, Oakland) featuring live music, beer tastings from Almanac Brewing, vegan doughnuts from Whack Donuts, and samples of the pie, tickets available through Eventbrite, and then the pizza will debut at all Square Pie Guys locations on July 19 and remain on the menu through October 18 with five percent of sales donated to City Eats." - Dianne de Guzman
