"Order from one of Los Angeles’s favorite modern Afro-Caribbean restaurants this Thanksgiving for a spread that will excite the crowd — and be a departure from the overly beige spreads peddled at other places in town. At Bridgetown, chef Rashida Holmes will serve up gigantic jerk turkey legs; snacky mini patties (available in four flavors: oxtail and peppers, green curry shrimp, jerk chicken, and veggie); chana and sweet potato curry as a hearty vegetarian main; and sides like warmly spiced collard greens and — possibly the pièce de résistance — a whole macaroni and cheese pie that can feed eight to 10 people. For dessert, a passion fruit Key lime pie, provided by neighbor Chainsaw, will offer a bright burst of citrus to end the night on a light but festive note." - Eater Staff
