"Opened in Regent Square in December and located next to Georgia James Steakhouse, this two-story restaurant occupies about 13,000 square feet and seats roughly 375 diners. Its centerpiece is an Agave Library that pours up more than 150 types of tequila and mezcal and can be sampled in signature or customizable flights during tastings led by staff. The spirit menu lists at least five categories of agave spirits, including añejo, tequila that has been aged between one and three years in specific barrels; extra añejo tequila, which has been aged a minimum of three years; reposado, tequila that has been aged anywhere from two months to a year, and blanco tequilas, which has been aged up to two months, and mezcal. The kitchen aims to capture the essence of Mexico City with hand-pressed tortillas made with heirloom masa, staples such as tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, and ceviches, and more inventive plates like grilled Angus skirt steak, pecan mole rib-eye, and an extra-cheesy lobster fundito. Weekend brunch combines sweet and savory offerings — cajeta French toast, vanilla cinnamon pancakes, and Benedictos rancheros — served with cocktails, margaritas, Cava mimosas, Bloody Marias and other drinks made with fresh juices. Eater Dallas’s editor Courtney Smith notes the restaurant has a top-notch hamburger. Owned by Dallas-based hospitality group FB Society (which also operates Haywire, Sixty Vines and Whiskey Cake), the opening follows the group's earlier Houston debut of Haywire in Memorial City; weekday happy hour runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m." - Brittany Britto Garley
