"Jean-Philippe Tastet found a lovely surprise in Plateau BYOB La Prunelle on Duluth, a modest, low-key spot that has been chugging away on the French cuisine beat for some 19 years. Brought in as a last-minute backup, it nevertheless hits the right notes from soundtrack to service: wild mushrooms with a buckwheat tartine and aged cheddar are superb (though a touch heavy on truffle), while Icelandic cod with a Jerusalem artichoke purée shines. Tastet reports only good things to say across the menu—from crispy sweetbread to spatzle with sea urchin cream and the house boudin with chorizo—and awards it a solid three stars." - Tim Forster
