"I found Yunta, opened by the owners of Viva Chicken, to be a young, hip, Japanese-influenced cevicheria with a clubby, electronic-music-and-mood-lighting vibe even at lunch. There are other nikkei dishes like maki, but the ceviche is the draw: a generous bowl of tender octopus slices, chewy squid rings, fat shrimp, and squares of mahi mahi topped with lots of red onion and sweet potato in a creamy golden base. Diners receive a dish of cancha as soon as they sit down, and it’s recommended to wash it all down with the bar’s pisco cocktails." - Kathleen Purvis
