"I'm seeing a California chain known for spicy wings, noodle dishes, and a plethora of tricked-out drinks will open its doors in Westchase next spring, debuting in the Royal Oaks Shopping Center at 117000 Westheimer Road. I note the expansion into Houston is part of a Texas-wide rollout that will also include outposts in Dallas and San Antonio, with more locations slated for Arizona and California. The eatery serves an assortment of Asian-inspired noodle and rice dishes—seafood fried rice; bulgogi beef with rice; pad Thai; pad see ew; and Mongolian noodles with chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu—alongside Thai and Vietnamese soups, an assortment of wings and loaded fries, and a long drink menu featuring flavor-infused teas, milk teas spiked with boba, fruit-based slushies, milkshakes, milk-based smoothies, plus coffee and espresso. I'm told the Houston outpost is slated to open in April 2019, with an official opening date and hours to be announced." - Alaena Hostetter
