"Washington Blade, in partnership with LURe DC and The Wharf, will host the Absolut-sponsored 2nd annual Pride on the Pier on Saturday, June 8, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be DJs, dancing, and a fireworks finale. Booze available for purchase includes DC Brau’s Pride Brau Pils cans starring LGBTQ activist and Stonewall icon Marsha P. Johnson. The Dockmasters Building will host two VIP blocks with catered food and an open bar. Also expect a confetti cookie dessert stand from the Wharf’s Milk Bar." - Tierney Plumb
