"I noticed that Felix’s has opened a new oyster house on the Lakefront and is now slinging raw oysters; it opened this week in the spot Brisbi’s left in May after five years in business. Like the original in the French Quarter, the main draw is the oysters: the Lakefront eatery features two oyster bars and a separate glassed-in area to watch the bivalves grilled over hot flames. The menu takes cues from a typical “Bucktown menu,” with more boiled seafood and a few new entrees than the Quarter location. There’s a view over the lake with plenty of second-floor outdoor seating and an open-air patio at water level that serves up live music and a truncated menu of oysters and boiled seafood. The Lakefront location is currently only open for dinner starting at 5 p.m., with regular hours beginning June 30 (Sunday–Thursday 11 a.m.–10 p.m., Friday–Saturday 11 a.m.–11 p.m.). Waterfront and outdoor dining are available." - Stephanie Carter
