"A new brewery and craft beer bar opening at 1848 Airline Drive, this project is a collaboration between Al Gonzales (who will run the bar) and brewers Louie Espinoza and Oscar Gonzalez of Turkey Forrest Brewing. The venue will feature 24 taps—several reserved for Turkey Forrest’s offerings—and will brew heavy stouts, hop-forward IPAs, and Mexican-inspired beers in a back room. The concept aims to engage the neighborhood’s Hispanic community while introducing other craft-beer drinkers to different brewing styles, and its owners say it will be the first brewery in Houston to be fully owned by Mexican-Americans." - Brittanie Shey
