"Perched on the sixth floor of downtown Napa’s Archer Hotel, Sky & Vine opens as Charlie Palmer’s new restaurant and rooftop bar offering Napa’s only rooftop view and an 'epic' Sunday brunch. I note the 11,000-square-foot rooftop can seat 80 on the patio lounge—complete with fire pits and games like giant Jenga—in addition to 130 seats at the restaurant and bar; open seasonally, the rooftop will offer daily breakfast, all-day dining and a reverse Happy Hour (9 p.m.-close), plus a $38 bottomless Sunday brunch that includes a doughnut wheel or charcuterie board for the table, unlimited Bloody Marys, two hours of mimosas and a choice of a brunch entrée. Executive chef Jeffery Russell oversees menus for both Archer Hotel restaurants, and the rooftop menu is a casual departure from the upscale steakhouse downstairs, focusing on lighter yet elevated classic American dishes: small plates such as deviled eggs with pimento cheese and raw oysters with a cucumber mignonette, a trio of sandwiches for mains including the Charlie Palmer Steak Sandwich with seared NY strip, caramelized onion and CP’s signature steak sauce, and carryovers like the lobster corn dogs. Desserts include mini ice cream sandwiches made with house-churned vanilla bean ice cream pressed between house-baked chocolate chip cookies. The rooftop also has its own playful cocktail list—highlighted by the colorful Elixir combining Absolut Elyx, lemon, pickled beet cucumber and beet kombucha—as well as zero-proof options, live music on Thursdays and Sundays, Brown Bag Wednesdays wine-guessing challenges with steep discounts, and nightly reverse happy hour deals ($5 beers, $9 cocktails and wines by the glass) with snacks priced $4–10." - Eater
