"Opened on Marietta Street in Powder Springs (about 20 miles northwest of Atlanta), this chef-owned cafe and shop from Stacey “Suga” West evolved from a 2017 pimento cheese business and focuses its menu and retail around Southern-style pimento cheese. The operation makes and sells 12 pimento cheese flavors (four vegan) and offers charcuterie and pimento cheese plates as well as entrees that incorporate the spread—highlights include shrimp scampi with pesto-and-feta pimento cheese, a burger topped with black truffle pimento cheese, smoked gouda mac and pimento cheese balls, and a vegan burger with alfalfa sprouts, black bean hummus tomato jam, and the vegantastic pimento cheese. Desserts feature pimento cheese cheesecake and cookies, and the shop also carries pickles, jams, snacks and other pantry items. Family-run with husband Robert and son Quinton Jones helping, the chef previously worked at Metro Atlanta restaurants including the Hil at Serenbe and with Georgia Grown; the shop is open Wednesday–Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m." - Beth McKibben
