"Chef Orawin “Nim” Yimchalam, who operates a location at 308 Decatur Street with her husband Nathan Greene, has expanded into the St. Roch Market while continuing to serve inventive, nontraditional Thai items. Notable dishes include nam khoa tod, described as "a crispy rice ball spiced with red curry, Thai herbs, and chunks of salami," and the Thai sloppy Joe, "a loose meat sandwich on a bun, bright with Thai basil," called a craveable new classic. The expansion brings the chef full circle: her first location was at the now-shuttered White Star Market in Baton Rouge." - Beth D’Addono
