"A new Italian eatery in Preston Center brings freshly made pastas and classic plates to a subtly sophisticated 3,200-square-foot space designed by Zero3Design; warm wood ceiling panels and banquettes sit alongside a marble countertop, leather cushions, and striking chevron-patterned floor tile. Led on the menu by Robert Quick (formerly a chef de partie at Thomas Keller’s Ad Hoc and Bouchon) with COO Matt Gottlieb (ex-Hillstone), the kitchen offers dishes such as eggplant parmesan, cacio e pepe bucatini, porchetta, roasted chicken, and broiled strip steak. The cocktail program leans Italian—highlighted by the Quattro Dita, a blend of rye whiskey, Campari, Cynar, and vermouth—while the global wine list features a strong showing from Tuscany, Veneto, Piedmont, and Sardinia. The restaurant quietly opened recently in the neighborhood and encourages diners to review the menu before booking." - Amy McCarthy
