"J.T. Youngblood’s, the newest iteration of the long-lost renowned Texas fried chicken chain, is closed. Its last day of service on 1905 Aldrich Street in Mueller was yesterday, Sunday, December 16. Behind the newer restaurant were Lenoir chef/owner Todd Duplechan; Jeffrey Weinberger, the original owner of fine-dining restaurant Jeffrey’s; and the former manager of Four Seasons restaurant Trio (which is no longer) Jeff Haber. The renamed restaurant came back in March 2017 with a menu of Southern-style fried chicken and chicken items, plus pie, shakes, sides, and more." - Nadia Chaudhury
