"Located in the Gaslamp, I found the first California outpost of Marriott’s Moxy Hotels to be a newly-built, 126-room, nine-story property designed for the Instagram crowd: it forgoes a traditional registration counter in favor of a check-in “trike” that pours a welcome cocktail on nitro, and its lobby is stocked with arcade games, swings, and a cocktail bar called Bar Moxy.
