"Donna Lee’s counter-serve spot at Colony Square debuts October 1, offering sustainably sourced seafood served as salads, tacos, sandwiches, and grain bowls, with soups and larger entrees such as a lobster roll, fish and chips, and a seafood dinner plate; vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free options are also available. I note the menu has Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch approval and that Lee works with as many local seafood distributors as possible. Customers order at the counter by marking their fish or protein choice, preferred service (bowl, taco, sandwich), and sides with dry-erase markers on reusable menus. During the health crisis patrons must wear masks, seating is limited inside with a 38-seat patio, and takeout and delivery are offered. Founded in 2014 with eight Chicago locations, this Atlanta site is the chain’s first outside Chicago, and Lee plans to remain actively involved for the next several months." - Beth McKibben
