"You may have seen the buzz on social media. Sammy’s is a new sandwich shop at the Abrams Fixtures development in Adair Park. Chef Sam Pinner and general manager Jason Furst (also the general manager at BoccaLupo) have turned their high school friendship into a breakfast and lunch cafe. Look for the green eggs and ham sandwich or a yogurt parfait for breakfast, and a handful of lunch sandwiches like a smoked pork Cuban called Miami Sami, a grilled cheese with masala chutney called Sameer, and a smoked brisket pastrami on rye called Samuel. Sammy’s announced plans to open a barbecue joint in South Downtown next year.
