"I learned that Eleven Social, co-owned by Phillies legend Jimmy Rollins and located at 117 Chestnut Street (the former 2nd Story Brewing Company), is positioning itself as a contemporary New American restaurant led by executive chef Montana Houston and chef de cuisine Ja’mir Wimberly-Cole. The menu will explore the Afro roots of various cuisines while highlighting the region’s culinary favorites, aiming for elevated, big, bold flavors and upscale service without the stuffiness of white tablecloths or formal dress.
