A Filipino Bakery JP Makes and Bakes Will Open in Detroit’s New Center Neighborhood - Eater Detroit
"JP Makes and Bakes, helmed by Jonathan Peregrino, is Detroit's only Filipino bakery and cafe. The venue at 6529 Woodward Avenue will feature an open-concept kitchen and limited seating for about 10 people. It will offer a variety of sweet treats like cookies made with ube, brownies, chocolates, bread rolls, and savory options including rice bowls and entrees reflecting Peregrino's Filipino American upbringing.
