"Originally operating from 2012–2017, this Jamaica Plain Irish pub has reopened in its longtime spot at 3700 Washington Street (across from the Forest Hills MBTA station) after a relaunch that had been in the works since 2019. Affiliated with the Napper Tandy’s group of Irish pubs, the reboot—still hiring staff— is led by manager Carl Smith, a longtime bartender from the recently closed Foley’s Fireside Tavern. The venue aims to be a casual hangout to eat, drink, and watch the Red Sox, offering roughly ten beers on tap (including Guinness), some cocktails, and a simple menu of bar fare with the possibility of expanding offerings as the team gauges neighborhood demand; updates and hours are being posted to the pub’s Facebook page." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
