"I attended Toast the Trees, an Angel’s Envy bourbon tasting and dinner at Deacon’s New South on September 23: a three-course appetizer spread with cocktail pairings at 6 p.m. with tickets priced at $60 (purchased via Eventbrite). The event highlighted the bourbon tradition’s reliance on white oak for barrels and supported sustainability through the Toast the Trees campaign (every photo of Angel’s Envy posted and tagged equals one tree planted).
