"Florian East, Hamtramck's first microbrewery, is set to open on August 29, coinciding with the Hamtramck Labor Day Festival. Located at 9530 Jos Campau, the brewery occupies a former shoe store. The team behind it, representing southeast Michigan's Iraqi American, Chinese American, and Black communities, aims to create a welcoming atmosphere for all. The brewery features a range of rotating drafts, hand pulls, and Cosmcks, alongside nonalcoholic options. It has a 1,500-square-foot space seating 94 guests, with rose motifs and large windows creating a warm atmosphere. Florian East also hosts Premier League football screenings and local pop-ups.
