"A Queens-based coffee chain is planning a café in the 200 State Street building adjacent to Faneuil Hall Marketplace (convenient for tourists visiting the New England Aquarium), expected to open by the end of 2019, possibly in the fall. The shop will offer coffee alongside pastries, salads and sandwiches. Founded in 2010 by childhood friends Stefanos Vouvoudakis and Tom Tsiplakos, the company started as a roaster selling beans to restaurants and wholesale accounts before opening its first Manhattan café in 2016 and later expanding to Los Angeles and Chicago. The owners have hinted that additional Boston locations could follow beyond the planned State Street site." - Terrence Doyle
