"The cult chain, founded in Brentwood, California in 2010, has exploded to more than 75 locations across six states. Its first Texas location debuted days ago in Uptown Dallas, with two more area locations on the way before the year is up. According to Pressed Juicery’s website, the Houston location will land at Heights Mercantile. Its bright cold-pressed selections, categorized into groups like “citrus,” “roots,” “greens,” and “fruits,” make their way into detox packages and are sold solo. Along with plant-based milks, Pressed Juicery is also known for its vegan soft serve, called “Freeze,” that’s made entirely from fruits, nuts and vegetables, as well as shots, tonics, and health conscious grab-and-go snacks. Most juices are priced at around $6.50, and its six-juice, one-day cleanses are $34.50. A year-old membership platform cuts prices to $5 and $30, respectively." - Tierney Plumb
