"I’m really going to miss Kiriko; it was a rare place where you could experience some of the highest-quality sushi in the U.S. while still enjoying a warm, welcoming atmosphere — Ken Namba could turn out sublime pieces and then hand your kid a silly bunny-shaped roll. It felt like the sweet spot of quality at reachable prices, so it was sad to watch a decline in service and quality before it ultimately closed; I’m hopeful the chef’s hand surgery goes well and that they might reopen in a new form." - Eater Staff
