"Set to fire up Tijuana-style tacos in a larger 1,400-square-foot space, the Silver Lake outpost will mirror the Cypress Park menu—tacos, tortas, vampiros, quesotacos, and al pastor shaved straight off a massive, diner-facing trompo that lends smokiness and char—while adding weekend specials like tender suadero and tripa, costillas (ribs), and chilaquiles. Corn tortillas are made in-house with El Grano de Oro masa imported weekly from Tijuana. Once its beer and wine license is approved, expect wine, beer, agua frescas with soju, a version of Boomtown Brewery’s Bad Hombre Mexican-style lager, and even Valle de Guadalupe wine tastings. A 700-square-foot patio in the brand’s yellow-and-black palette sets the scene for private events, paint-and-taco nights, and make-your-own molcajete salsa evenings. Starting Friday, November 14, hours run 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and until 11 p.m. Friday–Saturday." - Mona Holmes
