Bombay Street Food Opens a Third D.C. Location With a Lower-Priced Menu - Eater DC

"Bombay Street Food, the Indian restaurant that started out serving various chaat, Indo-Chinese dishes, and vada pav in Columbia Heights just over two years ago, opens its third D.C. location today (Thursday, March 11) near Adams Morgan. Restaurateur Asad Sheikh, who has also quickly grown Butter Chicken Co. into a fast-casual counterpart, has added a couple new dishes. Bombay Street Food 3 serves aloo tiki (potato, chickpeas, and chutney) and a “chicken 65” in a spicy red sauce with curry leaves. The 45-seat restaurant with a small six-seat patio offers a cheaper and smaller menu (think an $18 thali platter for one) than the original or a second restaurant on Barracks Row in Capitol Hill. It opens for lunch from noon to 3 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Delivery is available from third-party apps." - Tierney Plumb
