"The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce has launched fundraising to distribute no-interest coronavirus loans of $500–$30,000 to small businesses that lost revenue and did not receive federal PPP aid; the loans will be distributed after a period of fundraising when the economy starts to reopen, can be repaid on a flexible time frame, and 65 percent are earmarked for minority- and women-owned businesses, with repaid loans recycled to other borough businesses. The chamber is raising money via Fundrazr for its Bring Back Brooklyn Fund, which had raised close to $176,000 toward a goal of as much as $500,000 at the time of reporting." - Luke Fortney
