"A New York–based pizzeria and wine bar that is strictly vegan is opening at 163 Newbury St. in Back Bay on Friday, July 9; it's the fifth Double Zero from restaurateur and author Matthew Kenney, whose meatless restaurant portfolio stretches from Bahrain to Buenos Aires. I note that the original East Village location is on Michelin's Bib Gourmand list, this is Kenney's first Boston restaurant, and the local opening follows his earlier New England expansion in 2019 with Plant City. The Boston Double Zero was originally announced in June 2018 and has been a long time coming." - Eater Staff
