LA’s Family Style Food Fest Evolves Into a Drive-In With Carhop Service | Eater LA

"Converted into a drive-in because of COVID-19, this year’s Family Style Fest & Blondie Beach’s Drive-Thru Theater runs October 2–4 at the 713 N. Hill parking lot near Far East Plaza; organizers will admit 100 cars each night, guests can order via the DoorDash app with food delivered to their car, Blondie Beach will supply the music, the full restaurant lineup is due September 14 (with Chinatown’s 43-year-old Mandarin‑Szechuan spot Yang Chow already confirmed), proceeds will benefit Chinatown Service Center, Homeboy Industries, Cathedral High School, and Los Angeles City College, and tickets go on sale September 21 through the festival’s website." - Mona Holmes
