"A 5,000-square-foot co-roasting factory and retail space, the Canadian Roasting Society operates a collaborative structure that allows multiple roasters to share facilities—something the founders say makes a large, multi-roaster retail project possible without waste, since unsold stock is sent out to cafés and subscribers. The space, built and maintained by Kenneth MacIntosh of For Good Measures, sits alongside the Lachine Canal and currently offers food and coffee to-go with plans to add a large summer terrasse in the front parking lot." - JP Karwacki
