"A new wine shop opened by the Noble Rot team on Lamb’s Conduit Street in Bloomsbury, established as part of their Keeling Andrew & Co. import business and reflecting the wines featured in the group's magazine and restaurants. In addition to a focused wine selection it stocks merchandise, magazines and books, and its logos and shop art were created by long‑time collaborator Jose Miguel Mendez (who also designed the label for the house 'Chin Chin' wine). The inventory emphasizes mature classics from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rioja and Brunello, sought‑after grower Champagne and up‑and‑coming natural producers; highlighted bottles include François Rousset‑Martin’s lightly oxidative 'Cuvée Professor' 2018 (£58) and Justin Dutraive’s Fleurie 'La Madone' 2019 (£43). The retail launch was accelerated by the pandemic: as an importer the owners could leverage an existing stockholding but required new premises, staff and systems to service private customers to their desired standard." - Adam Coghlan
