"Closed in January, Cold Beer was the Eastside BeltLine restaurant Gillespie and Red Beard partner Marco Shaw decided no longer fit the surrounding neighborhoods’ changing demographic. It had served as an everyday hangout for neighborhood residents and also stood out as Gillespie’s most stylish restaurant — with two patios (one on the rooftop), an expansive dining room, and decor that tapped into his love of art and architecture.
