A Las Vegas Sushi Restaurant Closes as a Chinatown Favorite Moves into the Casino | Eater Vegas
"I've followed this family-owned Chinatown favorite that earned a following for its Americanized Chinese and traditional Chinese dishes; its steamed pork buns—stuffed with pork and broth—stand out on a menu that also features soup dumplings and mapo tofu. The original on Jones Boulevard closed after a fire in March of last year, but the owners opened the takeout-only China Mama Express on Rainbow Boulevard in May 2023 and then reopened China Mama a month later in Shanghai Plaza in Chinatown. Now the restaurant is taking up residence in a central Las Vegas casino, moving into the space currently occupied by Boathouse Asian Eatery, and the new China Mama is expected to open this fall." - Janna Karel
