University Heights Gets Its Own Wine Bar and Bottle Shop | Eater San Diego

"Set to open on Park Boulevard in University Heights, the all-day wine bar will be run by South Park residents Paul and Juerie Masters, who previously worked in New York City's wine and hospitality industry. It will focus on small wine producers and organically-farmed varietals available by the glass, bottle, or wine flight, with the entire list available for retail; beer, cider, and kombucha will also be poured. The Park Boulevard space will have an outdoor patio and plenty of seating but no kitchen, so guests will be encouraged to order in food from nearby eateries. The owners also plan to offer wine education and other classes, and Joe Brady of Colliers International’s Urban Property Team called it “the perfect addition to the lively culinary, craft beer, cocktail, and retail scene” the neighborhood is known and loved for." - Candice Woo
