"A new bar concept built around duckpin bowling and mechanical bull-riding that will occupy two former bowling-alley sites. The venue plans a full bar and an expanded food menu with standard bar fare such as sliders, taco trios, chicken wings, cauliflower flatbreads and an eye-catching “fried crab cake deviled eggs,” plus salads, a pork chop entrée and desserts. Entertainment offerings are broad, including billiards, private karaoke rooms, duckpin bowling with lanes and balls sourced from Hungary, and a mechanical bull, with a press release hinting at additional attractions to be announced. The project is the first venture from B&B Hospitality led by managing partner Daniel Borrelli, is in its final fundraising rounds, and had its downtown opening pushed from late September to late February or early March 2020 to align with South by Southwest; the concept is not related to the similarly named New York hospitality group formerly associated with Mario Batali." - Erin Russell
