"Vox Media’s SXSW event space at the Belmont hosts Eater-curated programming and food from Friday, March 8 to Sunday, March 10 (SXSW 2019). Attendees can see Eater’s editor-in-chief Amanda Kludt on Friday and Saturday — including a Friday conversation with Eater Young Gun Mei Lin (’14), during which Lin’s famous congee will be served, and a Saturday appearance with Top Chef competitor Nini Nguyen. In addition to Austin offerings, the program brings restaurants from Los Angeles and New Orleans (including dishes from Lasa, Wexler’s Deli, Galatoire’s, and Justine), and features non-food attractions such as a Polygon arcade, a Curbed lounge, and live shows from the Vox Media family, including Recode’s Kara Swisher and The Verge’s Casey Newton.
