"A Downtown Crossing restaurant that reworks a long-running site into a focused steak-frites concept backed by Pasha entertainment and hospitality group (which took over the location in 2016 and operates several other local restaurants and nightlife venues). The menu centers on steak frites offered in three cuts — a house cut (a 10-ounce house-marinated flank), the Strip (a 14-ounce New York sirloin), and the King cut (a 22-ounce boneless ribeye) — with french fries fried in beef lard and available in small or “tall” sizes. Beyond steak, the kitchen turns out burgers made from a blend of New York sirloin, flank and ribeye, plus a falafel pita, mac and cheese, a range of sandwiches (including a veggie burger and a grilled cheese served with tomato soup and truffle fries), appetizers and salads. A substantial beverage program features craft beer, wine and cocktails, and Chef Gary Yanco leads the kitchen; current hours are roughly 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays with weekends reserved for special events." - Dana Hatic
