"Long a Fremont brewpub mainstay since opening in 1988, The Red Door has served well-loved craft beers and bar bites out of a historic building that once housed the Fremont Drug Company (moved about a block away in the early 20th century); its cod and chips were even featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and its spacious patio was a warm-weather destination for bar hoppers. The owners announced it will close in early March at the end of its current lease, saying they evaluated relocation options but currently have no plans to move and can't speculate on what might happen with the space — Washington Beer Blog first reported the story." - Gabe Guarente
