"I note the Borenstein family left Queens and opened a New York-style deli in 1979 that serves top-quality bagels, knishes, potato pancakes, deli sandwiches, matzo ball soup and more; on Sunday, September 25 and Monday, September 26 Chompie’s locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Chandler, and Glendale offer a special Rosh Hashanah multi-course dinner with two seatings (5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) featuring house-made chopped liver, gefilte fish with beet horseradish, matzo balls or beef barley soup, roast turkey or chicken filled with challah stuffing, brisket, latkes, and tzimmes, and those same locations are also offering the same menu for take-out plus a full a la carte selection (reservations recommended)." - Stephanie Carter
