"Since 2015, this warm, cozy restaurant in Little Italy has been operated by brothers Dario and Pietro Gallo from Cosenza, Italy. With a focus on Calabrian cuisine from southern Italy, it’s also the first Italian restaurant in the U.S. with a separate fully vegan menu. The pasta is all made in-house and the bar menu offers three types of Aperol spritzes. If you’re new and unsure of where to start, try the bruschetta with ricotta and prosciutto, lasagna al funghi (its wild mushroom béchamel is vegan), or juicy prawn-filled raviolo." - Helen I. Hwang
