Mexican Bar Loco Pez Opens Its Long-Awaited Grad Hospital Location | Eater Philly

"The doors are finally open at the long-in-the-works Graduate Hospital outpost of Loco Pez, located at the corner of 20th and Bainbridge (700 S. 20th Street). The LA-style taqueria and bar—Joe Beckham’s third location after the original in Fishtown (serving crowds since 2011) and the West Philly spot at 47th and Baltimore—serves tacos, burritos, enchiladas and a whole lot of tequila with a menu that leans Southern California rather than strictly south of the border: generously topped nachos, a hot sauce–laden “volcano burrito,” bacon-wrapped hot dogs, and fillings like al pastor, carne asada, pollo tinga, shrimp, seitan and spinach, and soy chorizo. Drinks include Mexican Coke, Jarritos, a long list of beers and tequilas, and tequila-forward cocktails such as one made with pineapple-infused tequila, guava, and lime juice.
