"I’m looking forward to the new Yonutz opening late July at 5765 Centennial Center Blvd., Suite 180 — the brand’s first location outside Florida and a 1,500-square-foot spot that’s the first of several planned in Las Vegas. Founded by CEO Tony Bahu, the Centennial Center shop was tapped to local entrepreneur Jordan Leach for the opening and is being expanded nationwide with Shark Tank entrepreneur Kevin Harrington; the concept centers on smash doughnuts (ice cream sandwiched and hot-pressed on a waffle maker) and doughnut-topped milkshakes. Standouts on the menu include the Nutella crunch smash doughnut (filled with cookie dough ice cream, smashed and hot-pressed, then topped with Oreos, cereal crunch, and Nutella drizzle), the unicorn smash doughnut (stuffed with candy ice cream, smashed, hot-pressed, and topped with cotton candy bites and unicorn glitter), and a birthday cake smash milkshake with Oreos and a mini doughnut; most smash doughnuts start at $8.95. They also offer regular doughnuts topped with M&Ms, salted caramel Biscoff, pink Pebbles cereal, simple glazed varieties and filled options like raspberry jelly, Boston cream, and apple pie, plus vegan and gluten-free choices, mini doughnuts, and doughnut decorating kits. Ice cream flavors include S’mores with Chips Ahoy cookies, graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate drizzle and a mini doughnut; strawberry Nesquick with Lucky Charms; French toast with Cinnamon French Toast, sprinkles, a mini doughnut, and maple drizzle; and Berry Bliss with mixed berries and Rice Krispies. A secret menu features milkshakes with Kinder Bueno bars, a birthday cake rendition made with Bang Energy drink, a cotton candy version and more in the ~$11.95 range, and the shop plans hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday–Saturday with an eye toward Southern Utah next." - Susan Stapleton
