New Fro-Yo Shop Mimi’s Opens in New York City | Eater NY
"Led by Keith Pulitano — the New Yorker behind San Juan wine bar El Vino Crudo and the Puerto Rico outpost of Malavita, an Italian specialty shop stocked with products "hard to find in Puerto Rico" — this Italian-focused shop and eatery will open later this year at 614 Manhattan Avenue (near Nassau Avenue) in the old Baoburg space in Greenpoint. Pulitano announced on Instagram, "We’re doing quality sandwiches, deep cut Italian dishes, bangers only wine list and…there’s a yard!" He is also involved with the Two Bridges wine shop, Magazzino. Ahead of the opening there will be a preview pop-up with friends at Lucia Alimentari from noon to 4 p.m. on August 2 at 301 West Broadway in Soho." - Emma Orlow
