"Washington City Paper reports that not-quite-1-year-old bar Five to One has closed at its current location. Founder Trevor Frye, who created drink lists based on music and performers featured at the neighboring 9:30 Club, says he hopes to relocate the bar elsewhere. Frye provided the following comment to Eater: "Five to One will not be reopening at the 903 U St location. While a very difficult decision for me, sometimes in this industry when you peel back certain layers, you need to make decisions based on business acumen and not the passion we put in to it day in and day out. We are so thankful for all of the people who supported us over the course of the year and the neighborhood for embracing us the way it did. My team created something truly special within those walls and we hope to recapture that when the bar lands at its new home." - Warren Rojas
