"The Xocolate Bar, owned by Malena Lopez-Maggi, is expanding to a new location in Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood. The new store will be retail-focused, with a stockroom and shipping capabilities, while the original Solano Avenue location will be used for production. The shop plans to collaborate with the Chocolate Dragon Bittersweet Cafe and Bakery, and will host co-branded events, chocolate tastings, and chocolate-making classes.
