"I noted that Fair Game was a vegan Italian pasta spot located inside the Austinite Market that opened in August 2022 and closed on March 17 as part of the Vegan Citadel group shutdown. The founders explained on Instagram that severe inflation, rising costs, the challenge of paying living wages, and supply chain issues made continued operation unsustainable without compromising portion size, pricing, and how they pay and treat employees.
